Pen Colour Sensor | Product Design

Not sure if this pen is ever going to see the light of day, but it's a fantastic idea. Basically, it's a pen that you hold up against anything, it reads the colour and proceeds to create the ink allowing you to draw in the colour it sensed...make sense? Check it out...it's been in the pipeline for years..where is it? I can't even ascertain the original source of the idea?
