Santa's Shoebox | The Art of Giving

This is one of the simplest, cleverest community giving ideas I have seen in a while. For those of you that love children and want to support those less fortunate in our community, this is a great way to do it. The Kidz2Kidz Trust is a Public Benefits Organisation (PBO), that runs projects with the aim of teaching children across South Africa the "art of giving" as part of their daily lives by exposing them and including them in our various projects. Please pledge a shoebox for a child in your area. All you have to do is follow the instructions on the Santa Shoebox site and drop off the box around the 25 October 2011. It really could not be easier and you will bring SO much joy to the lives of the little people that will be the beneficiaries of your beautiful box. I have pledged two boxes, one for each of my children and I will be getting them involved with packing and purchasing to pass on the 'giving' value. Images of joy from the Santa Shoebox gallery:
At the time of this post, 18,241 boxes had been pledged with the total number of kids being 68,839, we don't want children to be left out so COME ON PLEASE support and pass the message on!
