Durbs Eco Coolness
I am in Durban for part of my holiday and a friend [fantastic Durban blogger Nadia] introduced me to the Corner Cafe, which is an eco-restaurant - basically meaning, they do what they can to save the world “one cappucino at a time”. Definitely worth the visit if you are in Durbs, it's fun [they were having a no shoe day last time I went ;)] and different...with a healthy dollop of coolness.

Video Coolness | A Great Flash Mob
Imagine you were at a train station and this happened?! It certainly brought a smile to my face, this is at a train station in Belgium. One of the better flash mobs I have seen.

Art | Chinese Ingenuity | Wowness
Bet you can't do this! To think that people are able to do this is incredible! These shots were taken by artist Alain Delorme as part of his Totem series.

Recycling Coolness | Clever Goodies
I have come across some amazing things on my web searches but some of my favourite stops recently have been the recycling ideas that people share. The fact that they can see another use for something 'old' is fantastic and it's a skill we could all maybe use in future. Behold a collection of recycled coolness...

Street Art Coolness...Again!
Love Street Art, it will always feature on my blog for it's artistic activism. The following are a few of my favourite pieces...these people are super talented [some of them look like Banksy's work]. Enjoy!

Christmas Gift Idea | Use a jar | DIY
Recession. Difficult times means we have to be a little more creative when it comes to gifts this holiday session. We recently gave our clients the following gift, made from scratch, it is simple yet hugely effective and the clients loved it. You can actually put anything in a jar and label it. I am using 'the jar' idea for many gifts this year [these are R10.99 each] - you can fill it with all kinds of stuff! Such fun. The packaging is important, so I thought I would share the labels, available here for you to download and do your own cookie jars [sharing is caring ;)]. Consider it a gift from me for your support. Just right click on the label image and save. Be creative. Have fun. Happy Holidays!
Original label idea came from the great printables at Joyeverafter.

Cupcake Cuteness | Great Packaging
I'm busy preparing for our family Christmas doo and whilst trawling gourmet sites online, I came across such a cool company. Meri Meri has some wonderful cupcake packaging [other cool stuff as well - worth a bookmark]. These would be great gifts. The stockist in South Africa is apparently Neogroup. So pretty ;).
